April 2021: new content and features
In April 2021, we released 38 new Simulations covering a wide range of courses, as detailed here. These simulations, with a play time ranging from 5 to 20 minutes, are adapted from existing full-length simulations and are:
Focused on one specific topic, concept, or technique.
Flexible and easy to integrate into class, lab or home work.
Complete with Labster’s immersive experience and pedagogical techniques, including storytelling and gamification.
New simulation supplements and expanded features
A single lab report template is now available for all simulations which allows students to reflect on what they’ve learned. We have also introduced quiz question documents without answers which are editable – for educators to use as follow-up assessments.

As of April 2021, more than a third of Labster’s simulations are accessible (including the 38 new ones) and, from this spring, we will start releasing more translated simulations in Spanish, German, French and Italian on a rolling basis.
More learning content
Beyond virtual lab simulations, we are expanding our offer with more learning content that supports everyday teaching and learning in the lab, in class, and at home.
We are introducing a new library of thousands of science images, and we are enriching our library of 3D science animations, with about 20 additional videos on a wide range of topics.
This learning content, which is easy for educators to integrate into teaching material, aim to help students visualize science and improve their conceptual understanding.
