3. Collected Personal information
3.1 Labster collects personal information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users register with the Labster Service, when they use the Labster Service by logging into the virtual laboratory, complete laboratory steps etc., subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill our a form on labster.com or in connection with other activities provide by or on behalf of Labster.
3.2 The information collected consists mainly of name, email address, mailing address, and/or phone number, billing and payment information, usage and performance information from the use of the Labster Service and reviews.

18.104.22.168 Labster may use the email address to send Users information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to opt-in to the mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, Labster includes detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact Labster via the Site.
6. How Labster protects personal information
6.1 Labster adopts appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of Users’ personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on with the Labster Service. Sensitive and private data exchange between the Labster Service and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
7. Sharing personal information with schools, colleges or universities or other third parties.
7.1 Labster shares your personal information with the school, college or university you are attending if your use of the Labster service is used as an integrated part of your education.
7.2 Please be aware and accept that the Labster service provides access for teachers and professors (and other members of faculty) to your usage of and performance with the Labster Service with the purpose of monitoring and access/judging/evaluating your performance and use of the Labster service, in order to give you grades or to help you improve your performance or to improve the overall use of the Labster Service as an integrated part of your education.

8. COPPA and Parental Consent.
8.1 If the Labster Service is offered to Users under the age of 13, Parental consents are required under the USA Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act to the collection and use of personal information in the Services, from such Users. Labster or Labster’s customer will obtain parental consent for the collection and use of personal information in the Additional Services that Customer allows End Users to access before allowing any End Users under the age of 18 to use those services.
9.1 The parties acknowledge that (a) personal data collected in the United States of America may include personally identifiable information from education records that are subject to FERPA (“FERPA Records”); and (b) to the extent that personal data includes FERPA Records, Labster Inc will be considered a “School Official” (as that term is used in FERPA and its implementing regulations) and will also comply with FERPA.
10. Right to insight, alteration and deletion.
10.1 You can always request insight into the personal information we have collected about you. You may see must of the information we have collected when you are logged in to your account with the Labster Service.
10.2 You may also send us an e-mail at email@example.com and request a copy of the personal information we have on you.
10.3 If some of the information we hold on you is inaccurate you may request us to alter it.
10.4 We keep your personal information for a minimum period of 5 years after you have completed an education or a course where the Labster service was used or 3 years after you have closed down your account with us.
11.1 If you do not agree with our collection and processing of your personal data you may file a complaint with us or to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
